Plant-Based CBD Caesar Salad

A plant-based version of an classic favorite recipe, our CBD Caesar Salad is infused with 10mg CBD per serving.

Ingredients
  

Plant Based Parmesan

  • ½ cup raw, unsalted cashews
  • 3 tbsp nutritional yeast
  • ½ tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp pink Himalayan salt

Dressing

  • tbsp thick tahini
  • ¼ cup water
  • ¼ cup + 1 tbsp fresh lemon juice
  • 2 tbsp nutritional yeast
  • tbsp hemp seeds
  • 1 garlic clove roughly chopped
  • 2 tsp Dijon mustard
  • ¼ tsp freshly ground black pepper
  • ¼ tsp pink Himalayan salt
  • tbsp Cannaves Oliva extra virgin CBD olive oil

Salad

  • 3 medium hearts Romaine lettuce about 1½ lbs

Instructions
 

Plant Based Parmesan

  • In a blender, combine all the ingredients until well crushed and combined.

Dressing

  • In a blender, combine all the ingredients except the olive oil. Blend until smooth.
  • With the blender running, slowly stream in the olive oil until the dressing is think and emulsified.

Salad

  • Cut romaine into bite-sized pieces and rinse under cool running water. Salad spin to dry or spread out onto a clean kitchen towel and pat to dry.
  • Toss and serve. Sprinkle with plant based parmesan. Option to add cruncy chickpeas, peanuts, or other croutons.
